Kelson Burns is a student at Indiana University who began his senior year at the start of 2025. He is majoring in advertising and marketing, but is also pursuing photography, especially nature and action photography. Formerly, he has worked at the #1 ski resort in Canada, the Lake Louise Ski Resort, and has been sponsored by a Colorado ski company because of his skiing abilities. Soon he will be graduating from Indiana University in the winter of 2025 to continue his career in photography and skiing. In addition to being one of Kelson's professional portfolios for his photographic work, it also describes his educational and professional work so far throughout his life.

One slogan that defines Kelson is the quote from John Muir, "the mountains are calling and I must go". This quote from Mr. Muir exemplifies Kelson's love for the mountains and his desire to always return to them.
This desire was formed at a young age due to his travels throughout the picturesque Canadian Rockies, and continued to grow throughout his time working at the Lake Louise Ski Resort in Banff, Alberta, Canada during the 2019 - 2020 winter season. Amongst the beauty of the Canadian Rockies, Kelson has experienced the wonderful people and epic natural grandeur of the snow-capped mountains, the local remoteness that creates an atmosphere of tranquility, as well as the wish to never return to the “real world.” With this, he plans to return to the resort once again to build upon his professional career.
Kelson has already worked at his dream location: Lake Louise Ski Resort, and his dream job: being paid to ski, but another dream job of his is to be able to travel the world and get paid to take nature landscapes because he absolutely loves nature and the breathing scenes it provides.
